Guess what: it happens and happens and happens…!
“But not to me though….”
It happens to a lot of students, why not to you? Are you so perfect you’ve never made a little mistake or two?

I’m Will from Holland. Together with Craig Barnes, I’m the one responsible person you can count on for the unbiased information you’ll find on Attitude. I attended the Hanzehogeschool Groningen in the Netherlands. (Pronounce my school and my full name—Wicher Jelle deHoo—correctly and get a free used pizza!). During my student years I was ripped off and taken advantage of because I didn’t pay attention to what others were doing to me financially.
After a year of working, I’m still paying off “minor” loans I borrowed during my college years. Even with that, I’m one of the lucky ones. I will get out from under this “debt load” soon. Many students are not so lucky.
And I’m no different from the “unlucky” ones —I loved to party, as well as to windsurf—both expensive. You’ve heard and seen the ads, “Get a small loan, that’ll pay for your fun.” I believed them. Have you ever used that reasoning also? Well, you’ll get your money. But you’ll be sorry, I’ll tell you that!
Attitude will help you avoid lingering moments in your financial life. Attitude isn’t about selling products; it’s about educating you with the information you need to make good financial and life choices.
